2013 Honda CR-Z Debuts in Paris

Honda recently shocked the world by revealing the redesigned CR-Z early at the Indonesia International Motor Show. That, however, doesn't mean all the energy has been drained from the sport hybrid coupe's official debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.

See, while the 2013 Honda CR-Z was shown off in its full form at the Indonesia International Motor Show, there was still quite a bit we here at Baierl Honda were curious about. For instance, Honda didn't reveal the exact performance specs or fuel economy ratings it would be sporting upon joining the new Honda lineup. Furthermore, the Big H also confirmed another big surprise would be in store for the Paris Motor Show.

So what's the big reveal already?

Honda has confirmed not one, but two new colors for the 2013 CR-Z lineup. At the Indonesia International Motor Show, it was displayed in a stunning new shade of yellow that has been dubbed Energetic Yellow. And not only did Honda confirm that color for production at the Paris Motor Show; the company also confirmed another new hue as well: Aurora Violet.

Meanwhile, Honda also outlined what improvements have been made to the 2013 CR-Z under the hood. First Honda confirmed that the all-new CR-Z will boast a 13-hp boost as well as an increase of 16 lb.-ft. of torque. Its total output: 137 horsepower and 140 lb.-ft. of torque. Impressive, but not nearly as much so as the fact that Honda says this increase in performance will not result in a decrease in efficiency.
